Today's blog is about Summer and what foods we think of when we ponder about Summer. My choices are on an image I have created in google draw. I thought of many things about Summer but my main ideas were these ones ( in the image ) because many people have had it once in summer before and because it is very common for me to have in summer.

I noticed that you put Ice Cream as one of your favourite foods! Ice Cream is also my favourite food, I agree that it is very delightful and refreshing on a hot day. What else do you like to do on a hot day besides eating ice cream?
I had never heard of an Otai before reading your post, it sounds delicious! Are you from Tonga? I am from a country called Holland but I was born here in New Zealand!

Hi there Charlotte Alamoni here, Thank you for your positive comment i'm very grateful. Something I like to do in Summer is going to the Pools with my family. Yes I do come from Tonga and also the Cook Islands but I was born in New Zealand. Otai is basically like a smoothie but it is not blended but mix with fruit and sometimes with milk because in New Zealand coconut milk is not regularly available so we use milk or water.

I notice that you said you were born in New Zealand but you are from Tonga and the Cook Islands. I am similar, although I am born in New Zealand my parents were born in another country. I am really excited to visit my home country once we can travel again.
Have you done much travelling?
