Today I have drawing a kowhaiwhai of our one and only sun also called in Maori Tanerore. In my picture as you can see I have shown you some of the things that are part of the sun god Tanerore I have drawn eyebrows if you can spot them great job, I love drawing things because when I start I just can't stop so hopefully more drawing task come up in the future. Okay time to go bye and have a wonderful holidays!

ReplyDeleteMy name is Renee and I’m from the Summer Learning Journey Team. Ka pai for creating this awesome and detailed kowhaiwhai design, you are a very talented artist. I particularly appreciate how you have labelled the sections of the pattern that represent Tanerore’s facial features - that way I can clearly see those elements in your design. If you were to add some colours to your drawing which colours would you choose? This activity obviously really suits you because you enjoy art - what other things do you like to draw?
Ngā mihi nui and keep up the excellent mahi - I can’t wait to see your other posts over the summer!

Hi there Renee it's Alamoni here and I would just like to say THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE POSITIVE COMMENT!!! Your comment means so much to me because I just love drawing and I tried my hardest to make it resemble the Maori sun god Tanerore and when I saw your comment I was so happy and it gave me more confidences in my drawing that I went on drawing more things like my friends, anime characters, and other things, so thanks a lot!
