SLJ: Superpower no.2

Today I have made a xylophone out of paper and tape. It was simple all I did was fold the paper to make a cylinder type of shape and make it shorter each time, it doesn't work that well than a wooden one would when you bow through it but it does work if you hit it in the middle of it while it's flat down.

  1. Kia Ora Alamoni,

It’s Zana from the Summer Learning Journey.

How exciting is it that we are already onto the second week of the Summer Learning Journey and you get to complete your first Nano Girl project using your materials from last week.

I think your xylophone looks great and it looks like you put it all together really well. What kind of noise does it make when you blow on it and when you hit it in the middle?

I like the multicoloured pattern you have used. What do you think you could have used instead to make the xylophone work better?

Keep up the great work and I hope to see more of your posts over the summer.

    Ngā mihi nui,
    Zana Yates
