Road Safety

We might be in lockdown but once this pandemic has been solved we will be allowed to go out again but still with the same conditions and hope everyone will stick to it but on thing we must remember is the rules on the road so here are some rules on the rad the you need to keep.

1. One thing you should know and remember is to keep to the speed limit and always stop at STOP signs.

2.Another one is to always slow down to observe recommended speeds around bends and to keep on your left-hand side

3. A simple one that everyone should know is to always put on their seat belt and to know that it is on is to wait till you a click then you are already to go.

4. Do not Drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs it is a crime in New Zealand and strictly enforced by police.

5. Remember to give way to cyclists using the bus lanes, and vehicles using bus lanes.

these are all the things you need to remember while on the road I hope everyone keeps safe and looks both ways on the crossing.

  1. Due to C19, road safety week has been moved to November;
    Traffic Safety Week / Road Safety Week 9 - 15 November 2020
    It's your opportunity to get great publicity and attention for a road safety campaign run by you in your town, company, club, school or kindy. Whoever you are, wherever you live, help raise awareness of the terrible carnage on NZ roads by getting involved in Road Safety Week. You can help get everyone prepared now!
