Wood Works

At tech we all had to make ideas of what we wanted to make and to measure the exact measurement.

My first idea was to make a piano, my next idea was to make a Ipad holder for my Ipad so I don't need to hold it.

I made even more but my favourite one was the dispenser because I would like to put my lollies in there. Lastly I made 7 ideas and had to go because it was time to go back to school, can't wait to my dispenser!

I'll Have That!

A Hawke's Bay grower has become the first person in the Southern hemisphere to use compostable stickers on its apples because of all the cores and the fruit skin so it great to know that someone is actually trying to look after our planet.

The apples come from a company called Bostock New Zealand. They are planing to make more compostable stickers for more apples next year after a successful trial, meaning that they will be making more compostable stickers but after they have did their experiment.

Tech

Yesterday Room 12 went to tech for our second to last week with our tech teacher, we painted or wooden clocks that we made our self (my one was a dog that has a donut on his head.)

We had been painting the whole time at tech and didn't get to put the front part of the clock with the other parts. We did finish painting our front part of our clocks so next week we can make a fully working clock, then we went back to our class and went back to school to have our lunch.

Kiwi Can

today KiwiCan people came to Ruapotaka school to teach room 12 something and to learn what the word integrity means.

Image result for kiwicanOur tutors were name Miss Tuia and Mr Matt but Mr Matt was absent so Mrs Mac came for him and she was really helpful.

we play some games like Bang, Changes, and GKQ they were all fun games but the Changes game was base on honest and another word for honest telling the truth.

At the end we all learned that it is not good to lie but to tell the truth is the best but before we went we all did a special cheer to go.
